Dear FORA Partner,
We are excited to invite you to support the Romanian American National Heritage Awards, an initiative dedicated to uplifting youth from our Romanian diaspora.
About the Heritage Award: The Romanian American National Heritage Award (the Heritage Award) is a national competition open to any high school student in the United States. Winners are celebrated at, the most prominent event for the Romanian American community in the U.S.,.
Our goal is to provide aspiring college students with Romanian ties a prestigious platform that enhances their visibility and chances of admission to top universities. This recognition fosters a strong bond within the wider community, creating a virtuous cycle that builds a cohesive and influential Romanian American community in the United States.
Such a strong community benefits its members in the USA and serves as a significant ally to Romania abroad.
Community Partner Benefits:
- 🏆 Enhance community value by nominating and recognizing outstanding youth for the award.
- 🏆 Acknowledge and give credit to volunteer youth in your community.
- 🏆 Your LOGO will appear on the awards website.
- 🏆 Participate in the most prestigious Nationally Recognized Youth Award.
- 🏆 Nominate your representative to the Heritage Awards Committee.
- 🏆 Join the “one voice” project that unites our community.
Community Partner Responsibilities:
- Create an Article Page on your website (if you have a website): Publish a dedicated article about the awards on your website (we provide the content)
- Link to the Heritage Awards Website: Include a link to the Heritage Awards website in your communications.
- Endorse Applicants: Endorse at least five deserving applicants from your community who apply for the award.
- Social Media Engagement:
- Create at least 3 Facebook posts tagging FORA, the Heritage Award, and THE OTHER PARTNERS.
- Create at least 1 LinkedIn post using hashtags #FORA, #HeritageAwards, #RomanianCommunity.
- If available, share 3 Instagram or other social media posts.
- Promotion Timeline: Promote the awards at the end of June, mid-July, and beginning of August, leading up to the August 25th application deadline.
- Visuals: Find the approved images and posters in the shared “Visuals” drive folder https://bit.ly/ranhadrive
- Social Media Headers: Update your social media headers/cover photos one month before the submission deadline for at least one week
